Our customized patient portal is a useful and powerful tools for providers as well.  Whether you're a single doctor, a provider practice, a hospital physician, or a visiting nurse, the BSI Patient Portal is a useful tool for any professional health care provider.

Once you have joined the web site, you will immediately be able to create and administer surveys to patients within the system, extremely useful when trying to assess the overall health of their patient population.  As surveys are completed, you will be able to see their results in aggregated reports.  When a patient selects you as a preferred provider, you will be able to correspond with them using our secure messaging system.  Once the patient has set their permissions settings, you may also be able to view or maintain patient information as needed.  You will be able to use our secure messaging system to give your patients advice or instructions, or use it as a means to give your patients encouragement for a job well done.  No matter what, you are only a few simple clicks away from a direct line of communication with your patients.

This section of the website provides a condensed guided tour of the various provider functions of the portal.  To begin with, here is a list of the sections within the portal, with a link to each for easy navigation through the tour. Just click on the section name you wish to read more about. To return to this section area, click the Back to Top button within each section.

Please click on the image thumbnails to see larger versions of each section.  Each image will open within its own pop-up window.  You will be able to close the pop-up windows and return to the main body of the guided tour.

Patient Maintenance

This option will allow you to add new patients to the system.  Any patient that you add will automatically be branded as being your patient, meaning you have permission to view and modify their data.  Furthermore, they will be branded as being a member of the organization that you are part of, if applicable.  This will allow the patient to answer any surveys that you (and your organization) have created.

Messaging System

The secure messaging system allows you to communicate with patients and providers within the system.  You can use this to provide patients with instructions, offer them advice, or give them encouragement as they progress towards their goals.  You can also use this module to communicate with other providers; useful when you want to ask for assistance or when you want to notify a fellow provider of an impending patient visit.  The inbox will contain all messages received from patients and other system providers.  It tracks each message and preserves them in an archive to allow you to go back in time to refer to an old message at any time.
